A Selling Eating newsletter? Why not?

Fazoli’s Demonstrates Its Awareness of FunnyOrDie.com.

I like post-ironic humor. (FunnyOrDie.com, by the way, is NSFW. Be careful out there.)

I like Fazoli’s breadsticks, and believe they are a huge favorite among Fazoli’s fans.

I like the challenge of this five-second format, which Fazoli’s has boldly taken on.

I’m just not sure I’m ready to laugh with them as much as they assume I am. The last time I was aware of them, they were carefully explaining their brand to me as if I were a very slow-witted, distracted person who had just decided to learn about restaurants in general. These little Five Second Breadstick Theater things are deliberately stupid; I’m just not sure I know Fazoli’s well enough to laugh at how stupid they are.

Stupid might not be the smartest move.
