Checking The Nation’s Restaurant Communications For Freshness.

What I’m talking about: those two extra “e’s” in Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen’s iced tea.

What I like best about those two “e’s” is that they’re completely extraneous and a little goofy and would have been easy to decide to just forget.

Reading an article about the new peach-themed summer LTOs at Popeyes and just want to say:

Those two extra “e’s” in the Cane Sweeeet Iced Tea are exactly the kind of little deft, unnecessary touch of personality that makes people love a brand.

It’s really that simple.

And that hard.

Even without spilling the take-home gallon jug on Malcolm Gladwell’s kitchen countertop, that’s sticky. In the Gladwellian sense. Oh damn, I’m ending the week on a pun, something I swore on Luke Sullivan’s magnum opus that I would never do.

Anyway: I like those two “e’s.” Don’t you?
