Domino’s votes down the Humane Society, because, well, because man has dominion over the animals.

Like Wilbur in Charlotte’s Web, Babe is some pig. It’s a story we haven’t felt good about as a society for many years.

Even though Burger King, McDonald’s and Wendy’s have pledged  among other Chipotlean measures to stop using pork from producers who use confinement crates where the mom pig can’t turn around, Domino’s voted “overwhemingly” (according to AnnArbor.com) to stay their course.

“We rely on animal experts to determine what is the best way to raise an animal that’s being used for food,” Domino’s spokesman Tim McIntyre said.

In other words, Domino’s is once again boldly, straightforwardly saying “No.”
